Order Fulfillment

Your Order Fulfillment: Once your order has been placed, you will receive a “Purchase Confirmation Receipt” via email which will include your assigned “Order Number”. Honu will also email a shippers “Tracking Number” within 72 business hours from the receipt of your order. www.fedex.com/tracking is the domain where you can input your tracking number to track your package.  Should item(s) not be available at time of shipping, customer will be given a projected shipping date. Customer may request refund if shipping date does not meet his/her satisfaction.

International Orders: Honu ships products to customers worldwide. When we export items outside the country the customer, must pay their specific country’s taxes and import duties at the time of arrival. In Canada it could mean HST. When Honu ships, we are required by our government to include 4 copies of a commercial invoice with your package. This invoice must match the quantity’s listed on your export documents. Items listed as “Gifts” or “Samples” for less than actual price is considered export fraud by US government in addition to fines. Honu strongly encourages customers to be aware of dealers / stores offering these practices which are unlawful and will subject you the consumer to fines and penalties. All taxes are based per country. Please contact your local government or FedEx office for more information on determining these exact amounts.

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTIES: Honu will strive to assist all international customers with potential product receiving issues. Honu will not pay shipping cost associated with any return of items or re-shipping requests outside the continental USA. These fees must be paid by customer. Honu will work with all customers and manufacturers to resolve warranty issues as best possible. Digital photos have proven to be a solution to this issue, however most manufacturers request defective items be sent directly to them for inspection. All warranty items and interpretation of what is “warrantable” are subject to the manufacturer. International customers are responsible for all freight sent back to our Honu home address including replacement products requested to be sent back to them.

SHIPPING COSTS: Honu shipping rates are calculated based on “Fed Ex Ground” rates. Honu shipping quotes are only “ESTIMATES” of your actual shipping costs. Honu reserves the right to adjust any order as needed to cover own shipping costs. Please be sure you have your rate confirmation via email before committing to move forward.

ALASKA/HAWAII/INTERNATIONAL: Shipping for all customers outside the continental USA will NOT be calculated in advance. Shipping will show up as $0 on your computer generated order confirmation acknowledgement. Once Honu confirms all items are in stock and ready to ship, we will email your quote. Customer must send Honu a shipping rate agreement acknowledging your countries taxes and import duties payable upon product arrival.
